The Faysol Oluwakemi Health Care Forum (FOHCAF) has announced the 10th edition of its Annual Health Lecture, marking a decade of impactful health advocacy, education, and community service.

According to the convener, Faysol Oluwakemi, the milestone edition celebrates “a decade of impact, advocacy, and service to humanity through health education and community empowerment.”

Despite financial and logistical challenges, the organizers say they remain committed to expanding their reach and touching more lives. This year’s celebration will be modest but deeply meaningful, featuring two key events.

The first is a Special Edition of the Health Focus Show on Fresh FM Ibadan, slated for Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Themed “A Decade of Impact: Advancing Health Information, Empowering Communities,” the program will spotlight FOHCAF’s journey, achievements, and future direction in health promotion and media advocacy.

The celebration will climax with a Free Medical Outreach on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Orita Merin, Oja’ba, Ibadan South-West Local Government Area, Oyo State. The outreach is expected to serve 1,000 beneficiaries, offering free health checks, consultations, and medications to underserved residents.

Over the past decade, FOHCAF, organized in collaboration with the Get Healthy Africa Initiative (GHAi), has become a key platform for driving health awareness and inspiring grassroots impact.

Reaffirming their commitment, Oluwakemi said, “We are proud of how far we’ve come, and even more determined to continue promoting access to health information and services, especially among the underserved.”

The organizers also appealed for support and partnerships from individuals and organizations to sustain the initiative. Contributions can be made to Get Healthy Africa Initiative, Alternative Bank, Account Number: 0506527727.

For FOHCAF, the journey continues, one decade down, a healthier future ahead.
