The National President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Abdullahi Bello Bodejo, has urged residents of Taraba State who are not members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to join the ruling party, while calling on existing members to renew their membership to strengthen support for the government’s reform agenda.

Bodejo made the appeal during a visit to his community in Magu Ward, in Zangon Ajiya area of Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State.

He encouraged residents to rally behind the “Renewed Hope Agenda” of Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the state governor Agbu Kefas.

Bodejo was represented at the gathering by a delegation of supporters led by Barrister Dahiru Abbo and other political figures from the state.

Upon arriving in the community, the delegation paid a courtesy visit to the District Head of Magu, Usmanu Maikarfi, where they exchanged pleasantries and received traditional blessings before the political meeting.

Speaking at the event, the APC chairman of Magu Ward, represented by former councillor Baballe Hashin, welcomed the delegation and described Bodejo as a proud son of Zangon Ajiya whose visit had further strengthened ties between him and the community.

The meeting later took on a political tone when the leader of the Bodejo Network for Senator 2027, Halilu Yahaya, called on Bodejo to contest for the Senate seat representing Taraba Central Senatorial District in the 2027 general elections.

Yahaya said youths and women across the senatorial zone were ready to support Bodejo if he decides to heed their call and join the race.

Political observers say the growing calls for Bodejo to seek the Senate seat may signal early political manoeuvring ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 elections in Taraba State.
