Lagos PDP Chairman Released After Days In Kidnappers’ Den

After Five days in Captivity ,the Lagos State People’s democratic Party [PDP]Hon. Philp Aivoji has been released from his Abductors  yesterday.

The ogun state police public Relation Officer, Omolola Odutola  disclosed  that  the  efforts of Ogun State Police Command paid off as Hon Philip Aivoji (Lagos State PDP Chairman) has finally been released early this morning by the gang of the kidnappers who held him captive. 

Odutola stated that the victim has been reunited with his family and efforts are on top gear to track down the perpetuators of this dastardly act 

The Lagos PDP chairman was abducted, alongside some other party officials, by gunmen around Ogere on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Thursday last week.

They were returning from the party’s stakeholders’ zonal caucus meeting convened by the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, in Ibadan, the state capital.

Recall that one person lost her life in the incident while nine others were rescued yesterday from the kidnappers living the Philp Aivoji in their den.

However, what is unclear was whether ransom was paid or not at the time of filing this report
