Governor Aiyedatiwa Offers Condolences on Olubadan’s Passing

Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has expressed heartfelt condolences to the people of Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, following the demise of Olubadan, Oba Lekan Balogun.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, Governor Aiyedatiwa extended his sympathies to the Government of Oyo State and Governor Seyi Makinde on the loss of the esteemed monarch.

Describing Oba Lekan Balogun as a silent achiever and advocate for peace, Governor Aiyedatiwa emphasized the significant impact of the late monarch’s leadership during his two-year reign. He noted that Oba Balogun’s tenure was marked by efforts to foster communal harmony and stability in Ibadan, drawing from his wealth of experience in traditional leadership.

Governor Aiyedatiwa urged divine guidance for the Oyo State government in filling the void left by the passing of the revered monarch. Additionally, he offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the late king’s soul.

The entire Ondo State populace joins Governor Aiyedatiwa in mourning the loss of Oba Lekan Balogun, recognizing his enduring legacy and contributions to the region.
