The highly anticipated Treasure Newspaper 1st Public Lecture and Distinguished Personality Awards 2024 is set to hold in Akute, the Ondo State capital.

Planned to be a remarkable event with a lineup of esteemed guests, the event slated for Saturday, April 27, 2024 promises insightful discussions and recognition of notable individuals.

Revealing the program details, Emmanuel Adeniran, the Editor-in-Chief of Treasure Newspaper, announced that the lecture’s theme, “Home Grown Economy As Road Map For Economic Sustainability: Examining The Prospects Under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Administration,” will be delivered by Dr. Olusegun Mayegun, a prominent figure in Nigerian student activism.

Barrister Honourable Duerimini Isaac Kekemeke, Vice Chairman Southwest for the All Progressives Congress, will chair the political aspect, while Mr. Debo Adeniran, National President of the Committee For The Defence Of Human Rights, will oversee human rights discussions.

Distinguished guests include the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Honourable Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, as the Special Guest Of Honour; the Deji of Akure Kingdom, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, CFR, as the Royal Father of the day; and former Senator Biodun Olujimi as the Mother Of The Day.

Other notable attendees include state chairmen of the Nigeria Labour Congress, representatives from various sectors, and prominent opinion leaders. The event will also honor 13 outstanding individuals with the Distinguished Personality Award.

With entertainment provided by sensational talent DJSkuri, the Treasure Newspaper Public Lecture and Awards promises to be a memorable occasion celebrating excellence and fostering meaningful dialogue.
