1 Mins read

On arrival of the Shark team at the incident scene, it was discovered that a DAF truck with registration number T65 16LA carrying a loaded 40ft container was involved in a solitary accident at the aforementioned location

Further investigation conducted revealed that the immediate cause of the incident was due to reckless driving on the part of the truck driver before the container fell off its flatbed thereby obstructing vehicular activities along the corridor.

Fortunately, no loss of life (s) but an adult male (driver of the truck) sustained different degrees of injuries and had been attended to by the agency’s pre hospital care before transported to Marina General Hospital for further treatment.

The articulated flatbed truck was successfully evacuated off the road with the aid of the agency’s heavy duty equipment (Super metro) subsequently moved to an open space at Lekki, toll gate. Also the agency’s Crane recovered the loaded 40fts container and placed it an empty flatbed to ease vehicular movement.

The road is now reopened for public use.

The Shark team alongside LRU paramedics and Nigeria police force were responders present at the incident scene.
