The Permanent Secretary (PS) of the Agency Dr Olufemi Osanyintolu noted that the Agency received a distress call via the CRM regarding a fire outbreak at the Alayabiagba Market, Mobil Road, Boundary, Ajegunle Apapa on Wednesday 5th June, 2024 at about 2:26am. This prompted the immediate activation of the Agency’s Response Team to the scene of the incident.

Osanyintolu explained that upon the arrival of the Agency’s team at the incident scene, it was observed that ten shops in the market were engulfed by fire.
