Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has said that the team is ready for the epic clash against The Bafana Bafana of South Africa on Friday, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

About 22 players are now in camp, after delay due to the Nigeria Labor Congress industrial action.

Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman and Fulham’s Alex Iwobi are the latest to arrive at camp.

While speaking to the team media, the Chippa United goalkeeper played down the pressure surrounding the game.

“There is no pressure, we just take the game one at a time.

“We just have to put ourselves together and try to win the game and then move on to the next game against Benin in Abidjan.

The two sides will meet again for the first time since South Africa’s heartbreaking defeat to Nigeria at the 2023 Africa cup of nations.

South Africa are due to arrive Nigeria on Thursday.
