The Radcliffe Fellowship programme seeks proposals that address pressing social and policy issues and engage audiences beyond academia.

Scientists, writers, journalists, scholars, public intellectuals, practitioners, and artists making a difference in their professional fields can apply for the 2025–2026 fellowship.

Fellows will receive a stipend of $78,000 plus an additional $5,000 to cover project expenses.

Applicants must have received their doctorate (or appropriate terminal degree) in the area of their proposed project at least two years before their appointment as fellows.

Radcliffe Institute welcomes proposals that focus on women, gender, and society, climate change and its human impacts, and the legacies of slavery.

Applications in humanities, social sciences, and creative arts will close on September 12, 2024, while the deadline for science, engineering, and mathematics is October 3, 2024.
