Lagos State’s New Engagement Channels Receive Significant Feedback, Says Special Adviser

The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Political, Legislative, and Civic Engagement, Dr. Tajudeen Abiodun Afolabi, has revealed that the recently launched engagement channels by the Sanwo-Olu administration are generating substantial feedback from residents across the state.

During an interview on Traffic Radio 96.1 FM’s “Eko n Sanjo” program, Dr. Afolabi stated that the administration remains committed to fostering open dialogue with the public. He emphasized that the feedback received is crucial in shaping ongoing policy decisions.

“Our Office happens to be one of the three Agencies directed by Mr. Governor to engage the youths, and I must tell you that we have received several feedbacks from across the state; it is clear that our people are eager to share their views and engage more directly with the government,” Dr. Afolabi noted.

He further added, “We are carefully reviewing every comment and suggestion. This input is very valuable as it will help us to further understand the issues that matter most to our citizens and how we can address them effectively.”

Dr. Afolabi also highlighted the state government’s various social security initiatives, such as expanded healthcare services, skills acquisition programs, and support for vulnerable citizens. He stressed that these efforts align with the T.H.E.M.E.S Plus Agenda of the administration, aiming not only to provide immediate relief but also to create sustainable economic empowerment pathways.

He concluded by urging Lagosians to continue supporting the government, assuring them that the administration remains dedicated to delivering the dividends of good governance.
