The Tutor-General and Permanent Secretary of Education District VI, Mrs. Mojisola Christiana Yussuf, has called on Vice-Principals in senior and junior secondary schools within the district to foster better collaboration with their Principals to enhance academic performance.

Speaking at a meeting with Vice-Principals, Mrs. Yussuf expressed concerns over the current dynamics between Vice-Principals and Principals, as well as their engagement in school affairs.

“Vice-Principals are expected to play a pivotal role in the day-to-day management of schools by supervising teachers and students, providing mentorship, and encouraging learners,” she stated.

She stressed that academic excellence requires a collective effort, urging Vice-Principals to work harmoniously with their Principals and Teachers to ensure students excel in external examinations.

“Education District VI remains committed to providing quality education and improving academic standards in all schools within the district,” Yussuf added.
