Access Bank CEO Herbert Wigwe Feared Dead in Helicopter Mishap

The business world is rocked by tragic news as reports suggest that Herbert Wigwe, the Group Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings Plc, is feared dead following a helicopter crash. The incident occurred in California near the Nevada border, according to The Will.

Details are scarce, but it’s believed Wigwe’s wife and son were also on board the helicopter. The New York Times reports that as of Saturday morning, authorities have not located any survivors.

The Federal Aviation Administration confirms the crash involved a Eurocopter EC130 helicopter near Nipton, Calif., an unincorporated community approximately 60 miles south of Las Vegas in eastern San Bernardino County.
