Kalu Powers D’Tigress To Historic Olympic Win

The Nigeria women’s basketball team known as D’Tigress made history by becoming the First African Team to reach the Quarterfinals at the Olympics.

Ezine Kalu inspired the team to their second victory at the 2024 Paris Olympics Defeating Canada 79-70 to book a place in the knockout round.

The team’s impressive performance was led by top scorer Ezinne Kalu, who scored 21 points, and Elizabeth Balogun, who added 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.

With this result, the D’Tigress have etched their name in history after they won two games at the Olympics for the first time in 20 years and will hope for more in their incredible run in Paris.
