1 Mins read

Defending champions Enyimba managed a slim victory over Katsina to put pressure on Rangers International.

Chijoke Mbaoma scored the lone goal in the second half to seal the victory for the People’s Elephant.

Enyimba midfielder Chibuike Nwaiwu was also awarded the “Club Player Of The Match” title due to his stellar performance, which earned him a sum of one hundred thousand naira (#100,000).

Rangers continue their impressive form in the league this season to maintain the top position after a comfortable 2-0 victory at home against Plateau United.

Prolific forward Christian Pyagbara’s sublime strike in the second half handed former champions Shooting Stars a convincing 2-0 win over rivals Sunshine Stars in the Southwest Derby.

In Lagos, new gaffer Abdullahi Biffo led Sporting Lagos to a 4-2 win in his first home game after losing his first game away from home against his former employers Katsina United.
