OneImpact Application

1 Mins read

Hello, I’m Miss Oluseyi Kadiri, Coordinator of TB People Nigeria, Lagos Chapter, and a TB survivor.champion and advocate.

As a TB advocate, I share my experience to educate people about TB disease, its signs and symptoms, prevention, and treatment adherence.

I emphasize the importance of seeking proper diagnosis, treatment, and care at the nearest health facility. Additionally, I inform close contacts of people affected with TB about TB preventive therapy, a medication that prevents them from contracting TB disease.

We, the TB Community, in collaboration with Debriche Health Development Centre as First responder on the one OneImpact Application, and the Ministry of Health, piloted and implemented the OneImpact Community Led Monitoring project in Nigeria.

The OneImpact Nigeria Application is a innovative tool that supports TB-affected individuals. The application has six modules:

Get to Know Your Rights: Understand your rights and report any violations for intervention.

Get Information: Access accurate information about TB, including signs, symptoms, and treatment options.

Get Access: Locate the nearest health facility for TB services.

Get Connected: Connect with others affected by TB, support groups, and more.

Get Involved: Report challenges, TB stigma, and rights violations

Survey: Provide feedback to the government, TB Program, and relevant stakeholders.

The OneImpact Application empowers TB-affected individuals, promotes awareness, and improves access to TB services.
