Pastor Adeboye Preside Over Prayer Summit As Gov Eno Begins Second Year In Office

To ensure a successful second year in office, the people of Akwa – Ibom State have called on God to direct the affairs of the state.

The Akwa Ibom State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, and the Fathers in Faith for Good Governance commenced a 3 – day prayer summit, asking for God’s guidance and protection.

The summit held at the International Christian Worship Centre, Uyo, and tagged, “From glory to glory,” had the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye as the guest minister.

In his message, Pastor Adeboye harped on the need for Christians to always acknowledge God and commit their ways to Him.

He said, ” Christians should always pray, especially when all is going well, before planning, while executing the plan, and to be specific on areas of need when praying to God “.
” The prayer summit is necessary, ” When you have a Governor who starts the year with prayers, the future is glorious and guaranteed “. Pastor Adeboye

The summit also featured prominent song ministers and pastors from within and outside the State.
