Remo Stars’ Ogunmodede Targets NPFL Title in 2024/25 Season

Remo Stars head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, has revealed that his primary goal for the 2024/25 season is to win the league title.

Ogunmodede, popularly known as “IjaBall,” recently signed a three-year contract extension that will keep him at the club in Ikenne until 2027.

Last season, he guided the Sky Blues to a second-place finish in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) for the second consecutive time, narrowly missing out on the title to eventual champions Rangers.

“Saying I am glad is an understatement; I am happy the club recognizes what I have achieved so far,” Ogunmodede stated.

“Our target is to win the league and perform well on the continental stage.”

Remo Stars will kick off their continental campaign in the preliminary stages of the CAF Champions League on Sunday, August 18th, against familiar foes AS FAR of Morocco.
