Surulere, Lagos by-election: Keshinro monitors deployment of personnel, boosts security coverage

The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Mr Adedotun Keshinro, today, Saturday, 3rd February, 2024, monitors the by – election, which takes place at the Surulere Federal Constituency 1 of the state.

The Lagos State Commandant deploys two hundred ( 200 ) personnel of the command comprising officers and other ranks to boost election security in all the polling units where the election is taking place and collation centres.

The by – election is being largely observed to be very smooth, credible and peaceful without any form of apprehension, intimidation, fear, cohersion and glitch in all the nooks and crannies of the constituency largely because of adequate presence of security apparatus drawn from various services too.

The personnel of the command are also ensuring strict compliance to election guidelines and rules as stipulated in a bid to deliver the best services possible during and after the all important process today.
