Aiyedatiwa Pledges Renewed Development, Welfare Priorities in Ondo State

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to infrastructural development and the welfare of the people in 2025. In his New Year message to the residents, the Governor expressed optimism about delivering good governance that restores faith in the government.

“This New Year offers a new vista of development across the 18 local government areas of our State,” Governor Aiyedatiwa stated, thanking the people of Ondo for their support in 2024. He acknowledged the contributions of traditional rulers, religious leaders, labor unions, security agencies, and the media in maintaining peace and fostering progress.

Reflecting on his administration’s achievements in the past year, the Governor highlighted advancements in infrastructure, job creation, workers’ welfare, and security. He assured the public that the 2025 ‘Budget of Recovery’ would be faithfully implemented to drive rapid development and complete ongoing projects.

“I affirm my commitment to the people of Ondo State. Let us intensify prayers for peace and prosperity in our dear State. It is my prayer that the first dawn of the New Year will bring unsparing blessings for us all,” he said.

Governor Aiyedatiwa also commended the peaceful conduct of stakeholders during the 2024 electioneering period and expressed gratitude for the mandate to lead the state beyond 2025. He called on citizens to rally behind his administration as it delivers the ‘OUR EASE’ mandate for the state’s growth.

Wishing the people a peaceful and prosperous New Year, the Governor concluded, “Together, we can achieve more for Ondo State in 2025.”
