Despite a tough 100-46 loss to the already qualified USA in their second game, D’Tigress managed to secure their berth after Senegal defeated Belgium with a score of 97-66.
This victory ensures Nigeria’s third appearance at the Olympics, while Senegal has been eliminated from contention after failing to secure a win.
Nigeria will conclude their qualifiers with a final game on Sunday against the host nation, Belgium.
