BrandXchange Announces 3rd Consumers Value Awards

1 Mins read

Nigeria’s leading consumer and marketing communications company, BrandXchange, is set to honor brands and individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to quality service and value through its Consumer Value Awards.

Now in its third year, the Consumer Value Awards began with a voting process that lasted over three months, garnering more than 8,000 votes. This followed a rigorous nomination phase featuring over 400 brands from various sectors, highlighting growing consumer engagement and recognition of market excellence.

This year’s theme, “Empowering Consumers,” underscores the importance of giving consumers a voice and ensuring they have the best possible market experiences. Amidst rising fuel prices, increasing food costs, and overall inflation, the need for brands to deliver value has never been more critical.

Akonte Ekine, CEO of BrandXchange and convener of the Consumer Value Awards, emphasized the significance of the event. “The Consumer Value Awards is more than just an event; it is a movement towards recognizing and rewarding those who genuinely prioritize consumer satisfaction. The impressive number of votes and active consumer participation indicate a collective desire for better market experiences. I urge all consumers to continue expressing their demands for the best from brands. Your voice matters and can drive significant improvements in the marketplace.”

The award ceremony, scheduled for September 12, 2024, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja GRA, will feature the presentation of “Best Value for Money” badges, symbolizing consumer appreciation and trust in the winning brands. Special recognitions will be given to individuals and advocacy campaigns that have significantly impacted consumer rights and market standards in the country.

The event, which promises to be a landmark occasion, is expected to host industry leaders, stakeholders, and consumers.
