Fire Incident at Owode Onirin Along Ikorodu Road: Situation Report

A fire incident erupted at Owode Onirin along Ikorodu road, engulfing several shops and a bank branch, as reported by Dr. Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu, the Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA).

As of the initial report, the cause of the fire remains unknown.

Fortunately, there have been no reported casualties or injuries resulting from the incident.

Emergency responders quickly mobilized to the scene, effectively containing the fire and preventing its spread to adjacent shops.

Among the responders are personnel from LASEMA, Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Nigeria Police, and LASTMA.

Efforts are currently underway to conduct damping down operations to fully extinguish any remaining hotspots.
