In another operation, MNJTF forces from Sector 3 in Monguno intercepted Babagana Zaninu, a Boko Haram logistics supplier, in Gubio. Zaninu was found transporting illicit drugs and essential supplies, including soft drinks, sugar, and flour, in a Toyota pickup intended for delivery to Boko Haram fighters in Gazabure Village.

Zaninu confessed that the supplies were purchased in Gubio market to support Boko Haram fighters, further highlighting the MNJTF’s success in disrupting key supply lines used by terrorists.

“These operations demonstrate our unwavering commitment to neutralizing terrorist threats and cutting off their critical supplies in the Lake Chad region,” Lieutenant Colonel Olaniyi Osoba, Chief Military Information Officer HQ MNJTF N’djamena, Chad stated.
