The Muslim community in Taraba State gathered on Saturday for the complete recitation of the Holy Qur’an and special prayers for Governor Agbu Kefas and the people of the state.
The event, held at the Saurara Jumma’at Mosque in Jalingo, was led by Malam Hussaini Isma’ila, Special Adviser on Muslim Religion Matters to the Governor. It brought together Chief Imams and Islamic scholars from across Taraba’s 16 local government areas.
The program began with Qur’anic recitation and was followed by prayers led by prominent imams from the state. The scholars expressed gratitude to Governor Kefas for his dedication to fostering development and unity in Taraba.

Prayers focused on seeking Allah’s guidance, good health, and success for the governor and his administration, as well as the peaceful coexistence of Nigeria as a whole.
Malam Hussaini Isma’ila called on the Muslim community to remain united and support Governor Kefas in his efforts to build a better Taraba.
