Nigeria @64: Aisha Barde Salutes Forefathers, Urges Nigerians To Raise The Nation’s Flag In Pride

The Commissioner of Environment and Climate Change in Taraba State, Hon. Aisha Abdul’aziz Barde on Tuesday 1st of October 2024 called on Tarabans and Nigerians in general to raise the nation’s flag in high pride, and loyalty.

Barde made the call in her independence message issued to newsmen in Jalingo. She also urged Nigerians to pay homage to the selfless individuals who made the journey possible for us to build a future with promise and hope.

“As Nigeria marks another year of independence, let’s take time to reflect on the 64 years of struggle and sacrifice that paved the way for the freedom we enjoy today. 

Countless brave men and women laid down their lives for our generations to come, and we owe them our deepest gratitude and respect through tribute”.
