Back from the mid season break, the Nigeria premier football league (NPFL) Matchday 20 served games with interesting results.

The rivalry match between two traditional sides Enyimba and Shooting Stars produced a lone goal.

Chijoke Mbaoma’s strike in the 44th minute took the people’s elephant to third on the log and contention for the title , a point behind table toppers Remo Stars who are joint table toppers alongside Lobi Stars on 36 points.

It was a five goal thriller in Rivers, where Doma came close to getting a draw coming from 3-1 down to Remo’s goalless draw that was laced with so many goals scoring opportunities but both teams failed to find the back of the net.
