Ondo Governor Dissolves State Executive Council, Retains Two Key Officials

Ondo State Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has dissolved the State Executive Council with immediate effect.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the governor announced that two key members of the cabinet were exempted from the dissolution due to the critical nature of their roles. They are Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, and Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac, the Commissioner for Finance.

All affected members of the cabinet have been directed to hand over government properties in their care to the accounting officers of their respective ministries.

Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed his appreciation to the outgoing council members for their service and contributions to the development of the state, wishing them success in their future endeavors.
