The Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC) has scheduled the Local Government Election for Saturday, January 18, 2025.

In preparation, the state government has declared Friday, January 17, 2025, a work-free day for public servants to enable them to travel to their communities and fulfill their civic duties.

Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has called on all stakeholders to ensure the election is conducted in a free, fair, and peaceful manner.
