vivo Launches V40 Smartphone in Nigeria, Promises Unmatched Portrait Photography

Global smartphone brand vivo has launched its latest flagship device, the V40, in Nigeria, targeting photography enthusiasts and professionals. The device, co-engineered with renowned optics company ZEISS, aims to set new standards in mobile portrait photography.

The V40 features a 50 MP ZEISS OIS Main Camera and an array of portrait-enhancing tools, such as the ZEISS Cinematic Video Bokeh and AI Aura Light Portrait, designed to offer users professional-level image and video quality. 

“With V40, we’ve focused on blending powerful mobile portrait photography, lasting battery performance, and sleek design,” said Mr. Toni Iiu, CEO of vivo Nigeria. “Our partnership with ZEISS ensures that users have the tools to express their creativity with cinematic results.”

Apart from its photography capabilities, the V40 also boasts a 120 Hz 3D Curved Screen, a 5500 mAh battery, and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon® 7 Gen 3 chipset, the phone offers smooth performance and durability for daily use.

The vivo V40 is now available for ₦749,800, with promotional offers including free TWS 3e Earbuds worth ₦59,900, a 24-month warranty, and one-time screen replacement within 180 days.

The launch solidifies vivo’s position in the premium smartphone market, promising consumers a device that balances performance, design, and photography excellence.
