Young Prodigy Aruna Quadri Jr. Shines in Spain, Securing First Major Medal

Quadri Aruna Jr., the son of Africa’s top-ranked table tennis player, Quadri Aruna, clinched a bronze medal in the U11 boys category at the 2024 World Table Tennis (WTT) held in Villareal, Spain.

Coached by his mother Ganiyat Aruna Olatunde,also a table tennis player,mentored and nurtured the 11-year-old prodigy who showcased his talent on the global stage.

His father, currently ranked 12th in the WTT and Africa’s number one player, undoubtedly beams with pride as his son garners attention at such a young age.

Definitely, Tennis now runs in the family, as the Aruna family’s passion for table tennis shines through as the next generation takes center stage, ensuring that the sport continues to thrive within their household.
