The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has called on the people of the state to uphold the virtues of love, kindness, and generosity as they celebrate Christmas.
In his heartfelt Christmas message, Governor Aiyedatiwa congratulated residents for witnessing another Yuletide season and encouraged modesty in their celebrations.
“Christmas is not just a day; it is a frame of mind. A good conscience is a continual Christmas,” the Governor stated. “Our celebration must embody the virtues and principles of Christ, for Jesus Christ is the reason for this season.”
The Governor highlighted the spiritual significance of the season, describing it as “a testament to divine goodwill towards mankind, unfolding the great plan of redemption, worship, and praise to the Almighty God for His benevolence.”
