Angola gets cash boost ahead of Quarter Final clash with Nigeria

The Palancas Negras of Angola have received cash rewards and material gifts ahead of their quarter-final clash with Nigeria.

Banco Angolano de Investimento (BAI) has given out five million Kwanzas which is approximately 5.41 million naira to each Angola player and coaching staff for making it to the quarter-finals.

In addition, President of the Board of Directors of UNITEL, a telecommunications company, Aguinaldo Jaime, has also gifted each member of the Angolan delegation an iPhone 15, inclusive of complimentary calls, SMS, and free internet for a year.

Angola have never made it past the Quarter final stage and will face the three-time champions Nigeria at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan on Friday.
