The National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mary Idele Alile, has praised the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his dedication to advancing women’s empowerment and inclusion in governance. Alile commended the governor’s efforts, noting a notable increase in female participation in government positions under his leadership.

“Governor Aiyedatiwa has made significant strides in ensuring that women have a voice in governance,” Alile stated during a weekend briefing with journalists in Akure. “His administration has seen a marked increase in female participation, creating a political space where women can contribute meaningfully to decision-making processes.”

She highlighted the governor’s alignment with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, stressing that women have been actively involved in key decisions in Ondo State. “This is a bold step toward achieving the gender balance we need in Nigerian politics. The leadership of the party is happy with Mr. Governor on this remarkable achievement,” she added.
