Arsenal return from the winter break with a five star performance in their 5-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace at the Emirates.

The gunners didn’t have a good start to the year after loosing three of their last five premier League games.

Arteta who had earlier expressed displeasure in his team’s lack of composure in front of goal was all smiles after the game that saw his team score from two set pieces.

It was a tale of The Gabriels as Gabriel Magalhaes opened scoring in the 11th minute while Gabriel Martineli grabbed two late goals to secure all three points for the Gunners.

Arteta said “I’m really pleased with the clean sheet, which is something we have been missing to win more games, the amount of goals scored, and sharing those goals as well which I think is going to make a real good impact on the team”.

Up next for Arsenal is a visit to City Ground to face Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.
