Nigeria’s largest construction industry event, Big 5 Construct Nigeria, is set to return to the Landmark Centre in Lagos from September 23 to 25, bringing together global brands, local suppliers, and key industry decision-makers to align with the country’s ambitious infrastructure and housing agenda.
With Nigeria’s construction market projected to exceed $108 billion by 2025 and a government-backed capital expenditure of $16.8 billion in 2024, the sector is gaining momentum as a cornerstone of national development. This year’s Big 5 Construct Nigeria will spotlight how public and private collaboration can drive sustainable growth in the sector.
Now in its latest edition, the event will host over 145 exhibitors from more than 20 countries, including new and returning global giants such as Sany Equipment, Daikin, Legrand Electric, Stanley Black & Decker, Lafarge, and Sika. National pavilions from China, Türkiye, Austria, and Egypt will showcase international innovation tailored to regional needs.
Heijmans emphasized the event’s role in connecting business to national needs:
“By convening leading suppliers, regional players and decision-makers under one roof, the event creates a space where business opportunities meet national priorities. Our goal is to ensure that the knowledge, technology and solutions required to close infrastructure and housing gaps are accessible.”
“Nigeria’s construction market is projected to reach over $108 billion in 2025, reflecting the scale of opportunity for both local and international stakeholders,” said Josine Heijmans, Senior Vice President – Construction at dmg events. “Big 5 Construct Nigeria 2025 builds on this growth, aligning closely with the country’s development and infrastructure master plan and housing objectives.”
Alongside the exhibition, Big 5 Talks will deliver over 25 CPD-certified sessions, free to attend and aimed at technical skill-building across architecture, design, project management, and sustainable construction. These sessions will be led by experts from key institutions such as the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Lafarge Africa Plc, and the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS).
