CAF InterClub Draws: Nigerian Clubs Face Stern Tests

Two-time CAF Champions League winners Enyimba International have been granted a bye in the first preliminary round of the 2024/2025 CAF Inter-Club competitions, which were drawn today in Egypt. 

Enyimba will face the winner of the match between Hafia of Guinea and Rahimo FC of Burkina Faso in the next round. 

Meanwhile, Remo Stars have been drawn against familiar opponents AS FAR of Morocco in the first preliminary round, the same team that eliminated them from the competition last season. 

Champions Rangers International, on the other hand, have been handed a relatively easy opponent in Comoros champions Zilimadjou.

In the Confederation Cup, Federation Cup winners El-Kanemi Warriors face a tough road ahead, starting with a match against Dadje FC of Benin, followed by a potential showdown with former champions RS Berkane of Morocco in the second round if they progress.
