Enforcement officers from the agency carried out the operation after confirming the violations. The General Manager, Engr. Adefemi Afolabi, reiterated the state’s zero-tolerance policy for environmental pollution, warning that any facility violating the Lagos State Environmental Management and Protection Law 2017 would face strict penalties.

He urged public toilet operators to adopt safe and sustainable waste management practices to protect public health and the environment.
