South Africa boss Broos Asserts Confidence Ahead of Super Eagles Semi-Final showdown

South Africa’s head coach, Hugo Broos, assures that his team will be well-prepared for the upcoming semi-final showdown against Nigeria.

The Bafana Bafana booked a date with the Super Eagles after a thrilling penalty shootout win against Cape Verde on Saturday night. 

Broos’ side made history by breaking a 24-year jinx and securing a spot in the semi-finals for the first time since 2000.

“When we got to the penalty shootout, it was a special thing for the players, because during training they were scoring them”

“We will be ready for Nigeria, they have good players like Lookman, but we know what we want, so we rest, recover and prepare for the next game”

The match is scheduled for Wednesday,7th February.
