Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum says his team can’t afford to miss the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Nigeria’s women’s national football team, last competed in the Olympics at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, and Waldrum affirmed the team is ready to give a good performance following their impressive outing at the 2023 Women’s world cup.
“We cannot allow Cameron stop us again like they did in 2012,we know they well now, and our goal is to the Qualify for the Olympics”
The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon will host Nigeria today in the first leg of the Olympic qualifiers and despite not having enough time to prepare for the contest, Waldrum is confident of a good result.
The match is scheduled for 6:00 PM Nigerian time.
