U.S. Acting Deputy Secretary, Nuland meets Nuhu Ribadu on US-Nigerian security partnership

In a significant diplomatic engagement, Acting Deputy Secretary Victoria Nuland has met the Nigerian National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu on Wednesday in Washington, D.C. to discuss security partnership between Nigeria and the USA.

Nuhu Ribadu is a Nigerian lawyer and former law enforcement officer. He gained prominence for his role as the pioneer chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Nigeria from 2003 to 2007.

Ribadu played a crucial role in anti-corruption efforts during his tenure, investigating and prosecuting various high-profile cases. Beyond his law enforcement career, Ribadu has been involved in Nigerian politics, contributing to discussions on governance and national development.
