2024: Aiyedatiwa Revalidates APC Membership as Party Flags Off Verification Exercise

Ahead of the primary election scheduled for April 20th in Ondo State, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has flagged off its membership revalidation exercise across the electoral wards of the 18 local government areas of the State.

The event was officially flagged off at Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s country home in Igbokoda, Ilaje Local Government Area,
where he revalidated his party membership, thereby confirming his eligibility to contest in the primary.

The Chairman of the membership revalidation committee, Barr Yakubu Bashir Bello, while addressing party members, emphasized the importance of the process.

He reiterated that the primary objective is to ensure that only financial members of the party are eligible to participate in the primary, stressing that the accuracy of the membership list is paramount to maintaining transparency and fairness in the electoral process.

In response to the commencement of the revalidation exercise, Governor Aiyedatiwa commended the leadership of the APC and lauded the initiative, highlighting its alignment with the party’s core principles.

Governor Aiyedatiwa emphasized the significance of the exercise in upholding the integrity of the party and its commitment to democratic ideals.
