The Adamawa State Government lauded the State2State project, describing it as impactful to the State.
The State Commissioner of Finance, Hon. Augustina Wandamihya stated this at the closing of the two-day Adamawa State Transformation Committee (TSC) Orientation and Quarterly Meeting held in Jalingo, the capital city of Taraba.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Gyatam Bassi, Hon. Augustina Wandamihya said the State2State has done a lot of interventions across many MDAs of the state in the last four (4) years.
She mentioned that the S2S has done well in the area of Public Financial Management (PFM), Governance among other activities in the state.
The Commissioner also noted that the program had supported the state government so much to achieve a lot of things including transparency, accountability, and efficiency.

In her closing remarks, the Executive Chairman of the Adamawa State Planning Commission, Dr. Mary Paninga revealed that the State2State has contributed about eighty percent (80%) of most of the outside interventions in governance to the state.
Also in an interview, the Executive Chairman of the Adamawa State Physical Responsibility Commission, Hon. Umar Daware described the project as impactful and said the state has benefited a lot from the project.
He expressed optimism that the state government will put in place a sustainability framework to enable it to sustain the reforms in the act of governance, as the project’s period would elapse next year.
However, the Adamawa State2State Team Lead, Suzanne Myada appreciated the participants for their commitment and resilience toward achieving the set objectives of the project in the state.
Meanwhile, participants have reviewed and validated the Adamawa State Transformation Committee (TSC) Sustainability Action Plan for adoption and implementation.
The meeting concluded with an announcement by the State2State Finance and Administration Specialist, Rahab Babaja as well as a group photograph.
