During a recent campaign tour in Akoko North West, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State assured that the forthcoming 2025 budget will be crafted to reflect the diverse needs of all communities in the state. Addressing supporters in Ogbagi Akoko on Tuesday, the Governor emphasized his administration’s commitment to ensuring no region is left out in the development process.

“The 2025 budget will be well-structured to ensure that no part of Ondo State is left behind,” Governor Aiyedatiwa stated. “We are already making progress across various sectors, but development is a process, and we must take it step by step. Infrastructure and other essential services will reach your region soon.”

The Governor’s tour received a warm reception from community leaders and residents, with the Owa of Ogbagi, Oba Olasehinde Ojo Adetona, speaking on behalf of 27 traditional rulers in the area. He assured the Governor of their unwavering support in the upcoming gubernatorial election, scheduled for November 16. “In Akoko North West, there is no opposition against your candidacy; we will deliver our votes because we trust your leadership and know you will continue performing excellently,” the monarch affirmed, while outlining some developmental challenges faced by the area.

Mr. Ifeoluwa Ehindero, representing the Akoko North East/Akoko North West federal constituency, also endorsed the Governor. “Governor Aiyedatiwa has demonstrated outstanding leadership, and we must ensure he continues his work. I urge everyone to come out on election day and vote for him,” Ehindero stated.

In addition to outlining his development agenda, Governor Aiyedatiwa highlighted the importance of unity among party members to secure victory in the upcoming election. Speaking to supporters in Oke Irun, he stressed, “The success of the APC depends heavily on our unity, commitment, and active participation throughout the campaign and on election day.”

Governor Aiyedatiwa’s campaign tour was designed to gain firsthand insight into the challenges faced by local communities. “I came through every key area not by accident but intentionally, so I can see things for myself and listen to your challenges directly,” he explained. “This way, I can respond promptly and ensure that no issue affecting your communities is overlooked.”

The tour was marked by a carnival-like atmosphere as Governor Aiyedatiwa received a warm welcome from jubilant supporters in Oke Agbe, the headquarters of the local government. The Governor took the opportunity to reaffirm his commitment to security, infrastructure, and agricultural development as key pillars of his administration.

As Ondo State looks ahead to the November elections, Governor Aiyedatiwa’s emphasis on an inclusive, well-planned budget reflects his pledge to uplift all communities, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose among the state’s diverse population.
