AFCON 2023: All Round of 16 Fixtures, Date and Time

Host nation Côte d’Ivoire came through the back door of best losers to qualify for the Round of 16 at the ongoing Africa cup of nations.

The elephants had three points from just a win in three matches,and needed favor from Morocco to qualify for the knockout round.

Morocco revived the hope of Cote d’ivoire by defeating Zambia 1-0 in their final group game giving the Ivorians something to cheer after a disappointing start to the tournament

With this result Ivory Coast booked their place in the round of 16 and will face defending champions Senegal.

In other fixtures, The super eagles of Nigeria will slug it out against the indomitable Lions of Cameroon while Namibia, playing in the knockout round for the first time ever in their history, will battle Angola on Saturday.
